Abstract

Using the distribution of petroleum nitrogen-containing compounds to study petroleum migration is a new direction in the field of organic geochemistry research at home and abroad. This paper reviews the latest research results of scholars at home and abroad from the aspects of separation and analysis of nitrogen-containing compounds, migration mechanism and application, and proposes methods and procedures for studying petroleum migration using petroleum nitrogen-containing compounds.
