Abstract

 This paper introduces the discovery process of the Lower Tertiary and Cretaceous oil and gas reservoirs in Yingmaili No. 7 oil and gas field in the Tarim Basin, summarizes the experience and lessons learned in the discovery process of the oil and gas reservoirs, and explains that in the process of oil and gas exploration in a new area, we cannot be bound by certain frameworks, but must open up new ideas, and at the same time, we must have a serious scientific attitude and a rigorous and meticulous work style during the implementation process.
