Geothermal and thermal stress characteristics in Songliao Basin and their role in oil and gas migration

Abstract

 This paper systematically describes the geothermal field characteristics of the Songliao Basin, presents the thermodynamic model and thermal stress calculation method of Daqing Changyuan and surrounding areas in the Songliao Basin, analyzes the properties and distribution characteristics of the thermal stress field in the central depression of the basin, and discusses the role of basin geothermal and thermal stress in oil and gas migration.
