Application of Cheng Ting dynamic model in the evaluation of courtyard cover in Huhe Lake depression

Abstract

This paper uses the calibrated chemical kinetic models of coal and kerogen oil generation, direct gas generation and oil-to-gas generation, combined with the paleo-thermal history of the study area, to quantitatively evaluate the hydrocarbon generation (history) of source rocks in the Huhehu Sag. The results show that the kinetic model of hydrocarbon generation can not only be used for the quantitative calculation of the hydrocarbon generation (history) of source rocks, but also provide useful inspiration for people to deeply understand the mechanism and mode of hydrocarbon generation of organic matter.
