New trends in the development of petroleum geological exploration technology

Abstract

In recent years, with the continuous deepening of petroleum exploration and development activities, some new trends have emerged in the development of petroleum geological exploration technology, mainly including the modernization of research methods, the trend of multidisciplinary collaboration and sharing of research data, the gradual shortening of the research process, the research projects closer to actual needs, the higher quality of research results, and the better application effect. Specifically, it is manifested as follows: (1) New theories, new technologies and new methods continue to emerge: on the one hand, the increasingly complex oil and gas exploration environment and the increasing difficulty of exploration in the world have put forward new and higher requirements for the development of geological exploration technology; on the other hand, the widespread use of computer information technology in the field of geological exploration has led to the rapid development of oil and gas exploration technology.
