China's Oil and Gas Energy Ladder

Abstract

 It is predicted that the world's oil resources will be exhausted in the late 21st century. Natural gas has many genesis types, is widely distributed, and is stable after deep burial compared to oil. Therefore, the choice of the fourth generation of energy for mankind will be natural gas. Various types of natural gas of biological and non-biological origin are widely distributed in large and medium-sized oil and gas basins in my country. The prospective resources are relatively rich, and the geological conditions for establishing 8 natural gas production bases in the eastern, central and western regions of my country are met. The author believes that the end of this century to the early next century is a good time for my country to gradually shift its oil and gas exploration strategy.
