Seismic exploration technology faces severe challenges in oil and gas exploration in the Tarim Basin

Abstract

This paper discusses the technical problems encountered in seismic exploration in the Tarim Basin. First, focusing on the exploration of four geological targets, it points out the problems existing in the seismic profile and the topics that need to be organized for technical research. Secondly, through several specific technologies, it points out several issues that need to be paid attention to at present. These topics and problems all come from the front line of production and the actual work site. Through technical breakthroughs achieved through research, not only the seismic technology itself has been developed, but also good benefits will be brought to oil and gas exploration.
